Beats, Rhymes & Life" the critically-acclaimed documentary about legendary hip hop act A Tribe Called Quest garnered a major award at the Producer's Guild of America Awards. The film took home the award for Best Documentary at the show. The awards honor producers who help create the best in film and television.
The film chronicled the beloved group's rise to fame in the 1990s, as well as the personal turmoil that ultimately led to them unexpectedly splitting at the end of the decade.There have also been rumors that the film could be nominated for Best Feature Length Documentary at the 2012 Academy Awards next month
It's good to see the fellas getting some love.. now only if they could come together for another LP.. what yall think.. naaaaah.. it won't happen.. at least we got the movie..
