De La Soul Mixtape on the Way

Looks like De La Soul (2/3s) will be back with a mixtape soon..

Rhymers Dave (aka Trugoy) and Posdnuos of legendary alt-rap group De La Soul have announced that they will be launching a side project called First Serve. The duo is releasing an album in April, but has currently dropped a warm-up mixtape entitled "The Goon Time Mixtape."
Pos and Dave will be known as Deen "D" Whitter and Jacob "Pop Life" Barrow for the project, and on their mixtape, they rhyme over classic beats by Run-DMC and Eminem, among others--as well as contemporary tracks by artists like Aloe Blacc.
First Serve's debut album isn't titled as of yet. De La Soul hasn't released an official studio album since 2004's The Grind Date and their last release of any kind was the 2009 "Are You In" digital mixtape.

One of my fave groups of all time.. I will definately be on the lookout for this one.
